Update 10/7/2026: Due to denials to MN RTC/PRTF options and county unable to approve out of state RTC’s, Tribal guardian/county are continuing to work on group home approval/placement.

Update – 2026-09-30 08:52:26

Update 9/30/2026: Declined to all available RTC/PRTF’s in MN. County is not able to approve out of state placement. Youth was added to wait list for Northwood PRTF that is about 1.5 years long.

Update 9/30/2026: Referrals still pending at Village Ranch and Heartland Girls Ranch. Tribal guardian working on preplacement screening for group home or foster care if available due to declines to in state RTC’s

Acadia,  Kidlink/UHS, Prairie Care Residential, Nexus Gerard, Heartland Girls Ranch,  Little Sands, Prairie Lakes Youth Program, Red River Valley Juvenile Center, VOA- Avanti, Grafton, JAF, Nexus Aspen House, PORT GH, North Crow GH, North Homes/Itaskin, Dignity House, Orchard Place IA, Beacon, A New Direction for Youth, AMA Inc, MN Care Counseling, ICare, REM. And extensive wait lists with Northwoods and Chileda.

Update 09/24/2026: 

– North Homes (LG referred and PT was declined) 
– Heartland Girls Ranch (PT has been there before and LG/CM states they are not able to return) 
– PrairieCare (Referral sent, declined for admission due to high risk for aggression towards others) 
– Avanti (Not an option per county LG) 
– Village Ranch (SW sent LG/CM clinical to refer, declined for admission due to high risk for aggression towards others) 
– Nexus East Bethel (Not accepting admissions until sometime in 2027) 
– Gerard Academy (LG/CM has referred, SW sent a referral, declined for admission) 
– Northwoods (Not a viable option due to 2+ year waitlist) 
 *Due to being declined to multiple RTC’s county is looking into group home placements, referral status is as follows: 
– Genesis Crisis Group Home (SW provided county LG with information) 
– Aspen House (SW provided county LG with information) 
– Freedom Ranch Group Home (SW provided county LG with information) 
– REM Community Services (SW provided county LG with information) 
– Lutheran Social Services (SW provided county LG with information)
