Youth had been accepted to YSC, however due to secure transportation needs and higher staffing ratio needs that was put on hold. Currently YSC is waiting for another discharge to take place so they can then provide the staffing that this youth needs. Secure transportation plan was able to be arranged for medical appts from YSC with a secure transportation provider up North who is able to accept private pay, so family will be paying directly for that secure transport to appts while at YSC. The ongoing GH still does not have the new window installed and is working to hire multiple new staff to support youth ongoing.

Just for an update on this youth as well is that he appears to be much more alert and more upbeat than when he first came to us at the Hoffmann Center.  He shared he is feeling better on the new medication regimen as well that he started a little bit ago.  He reported he is feeling less tired as well.  He has been able to go on some off campus outings recently with his peers and recently was able to go to the Vikings training camp and reported it went well! His incidents have decreased substantially! And he has been involved with his unit milue and programming.
